My mother taught me to sew my own clothes when I was eight years old. I soon discovered I could use my favorite clothes as patterns to create new clothes and learned how to adjust seams and maneuver fabric to get a better fit. I have been sewing and altering my own clothing ever since. Eventually, I experimented with an old couch handed down from a relative (which really did look like a handed down couch!). I took it apart and learned how to put it back together with new fabric, padding, and updated cord and accents. This began my love affair with upholstery. I love making old things look new and restoring the beauty of a well-made piece of furniture!
I value quality, service, and stewardship. I have been blessed with the creative drive to fix what is broken and create something new from something old. Quality is timeless and that is the foundation my business is built on.
